Morse Code is an alphabet or code in which letters are represented by combinations of long and short light or sound signals.
It is used to send messages over long distances.
Morse code messages can be sent using light or by pulses.
Short signals are referred to as dits (represented as dots). Long signals are referred to as dahs (represented as dashes).
The main benefit to using and knowing this Morse code is the ability to send messages over long distances ( hundreds or thousands of miles) on a relatively low amount of power in a secret manner.
